Since 1995, following his decision to sell his interest in the South Wales company BIG Batteries, which he had built up to become the largest lead battery manufacturer in Europe, chairman Brian Lewis has established various commercial property companies. The main companies being Eastlake Developments Ltd, Lewis Investments (Wales) Ltd and Lewis Property Holdings Ltd (formerly known as Lewis Developements Ltd).

This diversification necessitated the appointment of Rod Lovell as Managing Director of the company's operations to develop a successful and profitable portfolio.

Rod has extensive experience in commercial property having held Directorship positions for a number of industrial and retail developments throughout the UK and also in North America.

The strategy behind the creation of the 'Lewis Group' was to take advantage of increasing opportunities for commercial development and investment throughout the UK. Its aim was and still is, to establish a broad ranging property investment portfolio and expand the group's horizons into a variety of business opportunities.

Since inception, this family owned business has grown in stature with a substantial property portfolio - see our current developments page. The company's day to day operations are managed by Ian Venables (Property) and Cheryl Hopper (Accounts).
